"as you requested here we are, but I am curious, I wish to meet with your employer Arean was looking at him hoping he would say yes (please say yes, I need this money more then he could ever imagine) Arean waited for the reply

Arriving at the Dragons Den the two of them walk into the casinos lobby as Edgar turns to Arean saying " Well seeing as you have got me to were i need to be i will allow you to join me but if my emplayer askes you are my partner, cuase he is a very secretive deal and only trusts those who he knows." Edgar begins to walk towards the elevator that heads up to the penthouse were he is to meet with his employer. The Security guards that are guarding the elevator part ways and allow him access with no questions asked. The elevator doors open and Edgar walks in turning around he says to the guards "Boys the young lad is with me so you need not be concerned about him, i will take full responsibility for his actions." Edgar waits for Arean in the elevator.

Sensing that the kid was nervous about the meeting Edgar leaned over to him as the doors opened and whispered to him "Don't look so nervous or my employer will know something is up, and i will answer your questions later on once we are done with this meeting. Just stand straight and tall, and show him that you are serous about this meet also don't show your nervous that's a major contract denial." Walking out of the elevator into the penthouse where a giant desk could bee seen and a chair with the back facing the elevator. with guards on both sides of the desk armed with special issues sub machine guns. Just as the two arrived in front of the desk a voice from the other side of the chair said "Good to see you again Edgar, i see you have picked up a straggler this time, either way im glad that you have made it back. I need you and your young friend to make a courier run for me, i have a special package that i need delivered to some acquaintances out in Asgard. you will both be paid handsomely upon successful delivery of the item in question. If you have any questions feel free to ask them."

(oh getting paid, I like the sound of that) "okay Egar, I feel like I am ready to do this" As Arean was talking with Edgar he thought to himself (I know what I am going to do, when we deliver the package I shall kill Edgar and get more money, i think that this will be a good day, hahaha) "okay what are you waiting for, lets go man"

As the man in the chair turns around and begins laughing at Arean "You are to anxious for money foolish boy, You were lucky that our esteemed leader let you live as he normally doesn't care if someone lives or dies. People who come seeking work from Pendulum are purely expendable expenses no matter how skilled they are. He must have seen something in you that caused him to let you live. I will make you an offer i will give you have of the money now and to make sure that the package gets to its intended location in one piece." Edgar looks at the Employer and nods "Alright i will make sure that everything runs smooth." Edgar then turns around and heads towards the elevator and waits there for Arean.

Oh that sounds good, I will also make sure everything is good, this will be great heh, Arean then follows Edgar to the elevator and gets in right before it closes Okay now that we have privacy When we get back why don't we just kill your employer, we can take all of the money he has for ourselves, come on what do you say, two guys like us, we would be unstoppable.

It could be a thought but if we knock out one of the faces of pendulum then will will have to take on the other 11 faces and each is stronger then the next. i have thought about it many times but i don't have the power to take on pendulum as a whole but i suppose we could always try to take a chance and see were it leads us. But first lets get this mission over with so we can get out payment" Edgar pushed the button for the lobby and the elevator began to descend to the lobby of the casino. Upon arriving to the lobby the elevator doors open and all hel hell has broke loose in the lobby of the casino. There were dead bodies scattering the floors, blood and fires everywhere. "Looks like we have some competition little buddy. You ready to back some skulls and earn your manhood!"

Oh man, who did this!?!? where are they??? this is bad man Arean starts to run around looking for anyone that might of caused this Edgar do you see anyone?? I can't find them

Looking around Edgar was unable to see anything just then a band of crazed wasteland raiders came into sight of Edgar " There is the cause of this riot the raiders are after after something." Summoning up a wind storm Edgar began summoning a mighty wind beast to aid in there battle " These boys mean business and right now they have us outnumbered about 20 to 2 and we don't really have the option of running as they have the main exit blocked off, unless you know another way out we are here until we win or loose this battle my your companion."

Well we may be outnumbered but they are out matched my friend After Arean said that he pulled out his Barrett Rifle, "Okay Edgar, lets see how we can do now." Arean points the gun at the closest guy and pulls the trigger blowing his head of. Heh, Now it's on, lets see what you can do Ed

Calling forth the winds Edgar summons up the mighty wind Wyvern Wendas to attack its Enemies. "Go forth mighty wind wyvern, take down those who bar our exit from this riot." The mighty wyvern swoops in and attacks two of the raiders that are standing by the doors knocking them off there feet and carrying them away from the fray. The Elements have never failed me and will not fail me now." Edgar unleashes a small blast of hurricane force winds upon the raiders. Angered at the loss of many of the raiders the captain pulls out his machine gun and unloads a full magazine into the wind shaman sending him flying backwards through a wall. "You Die Now!" screamed the raider captain as the rest of his men began charging Arean.

Oh man Arean rolls to the side and tries to find cover from all of the bullets, As Arean is moving to cover he sees the hole in the wall and jumps through it hiding on the other side Okay looks like i have maybe a second or two, Arean mounts his gun and poibts it at the hole in the wall (the next person that comes through is getting a .50 cal in there brain) Arean sees one of the raiders minions and gets him in the head I could really use some help here!!!!!

down for the count Edgar is unable to move as is bleeding all over the floor. Just the the casino security reinforcements come in and start firing at the raiders. The sgt in charge runs over to Arean and asks How bad are things?

Things are really bad man, not that these guys are tough but there are so many of them, Thank god you guys are here though Arean gets up slowly looking around and then looks at the sgt How is Edgar, I have not heard from him, is he okay??

Things don't look good for your big friend, he took allot of lead to the chest and he might not survive this fight unless we can get him to a hospital asap the security guards kept on firing taking out the raiders but both sides are taking heavy losses. "We needs to make a break for those doors but unless we can take down these freak we really don't have much of a chance and the more time we spend flapping our gums the less time your friend there has to live.

Oh man okay, lets hurry Arean takes out his gun and starts firing rapidly to cause chaos as they break to the door, after the clip is gone Arean and the sgt make it out of the building with the wounded Edgar Okay how do we get to the hospital fast enough? He could bleed out before we get there, do you have any transportation?

we have our own vehicles but at this point we just need a vehicle that is beg enough to transport this massive man. if you know anything about hot wiring a vehicle i would suggest putting it to use now. Six cops come out of the building carrying Edgar on a makeshift stretcher. Just then a loud band could be heard from inside the casino as another group of raiders broke into the building to join the fray. "If you can get a vehicle and get it running then me and my men will cover you."

Arean tries everything possible and can not get the vehicle to work NO COME ON WORK!!!!!!!!! WORK!!!!! Arean keeps trying to get the vehicle to start but can't I'm sorry, but I just can't do it Areans eyes start to get watery I just can't get it to work

Just as things started to look like they were going to fall apart a familiar Voice came out from the shadows "You miss me kiddo..." Laughing from the shadows a face poked out. " Looks like your in over your head, might i offer a solution to your problems." Walking out of the shadows into the light it person was now very recognizable. It was Jackal. Halt who are you and what do you want with us, cant you see we have a dying man on our hands." "Relax im here to offer a hand to the kid, so he can get his ass in gear and save his buddy there."

Jackal......Wait a second I know you are here to help but have you been following me this entire time? You know what I don't even want to know, Tell me what you are going to do so we can save Edgar Arean stands very strong looking right into jackals eyes waiting for an answer

" That's easy kiddo, i happen to have a set of wheels that might do the job for you and your friends clad in blue." Jackal walks back into the shadows and fires up a big old truck and drives it out of the shadowy alleyway. Stopping right in front of the group Jackal get out and looks to Arean " Here you go,i found this old APC along my journeys and figured it might serve a purpose for later weather it was for my own uses or for money but i get around faster without vehicles so here you go, this thing should get you all to the hospital in one piece and in case you encounter more of your friends the steel plates on that thing will keep you safe."

You have no idea what that means, thank you so much jackal.....i have a different opinion about you now Arean loads edgar into the truck and makes his way towards the hospital hoping to get there in time to save edgars life

"it was for the better now quit flapping your gums and get that big bruiser to the hospital before you drown in his blood." Jackal smiles at the kid and then walks back into the shadows. The security guards help load Edgar into the apc and then head back into the casino to clean up the destruction.
